Die Erfindung betrifft ein Insassen-Sicherheitssystem für ein Fahrzeug, insbesondere Rückhaltesystem, wie Airbag, Gurtstraffer oder dergleichen, mit einer mindestens zwei Sensoren aufweisenden Sensoreinrichtung, einer mindestens zwei Aufbereitungsschaltungen umfassenden Aufbereitungseinrichtung für die Sensorsignale, einem Rechnersystem und einer aus mindestens zwei Stufen bestehenden Auslöseschaltung für eine Sicherheitseinrichtung. Für eine hohe Sicherheit bei relativ niedrigen Kosten wird vorgeschlagen, daß das als Einrechnersystem (30) ausgebildete Rechnersystem (12) derart ausgebildet ist, daß es die Daten der beiden Aufbereitungsschaltungen (8, 9) in zwei zeitlich zueinander versetzten Programmen (P1, P2) bearbeitet.

The invention concerns a vehicle-occupant safety system, in particular a restraining system such as an airbag or belt-tensioning device, with a sensor unit comprising at least two sensors, a sensor signal processing unit comprising at least two processing circuits, a computing unit and a safety device triggering circuit working in at least two stages. To ensure a high degree of safety at relatively low cost, it is proposed that the computing unit (12), which is a single-processor system (30), be designed so that it processes the data from the two processing circuits (8, 9) in tow programmes (P1, P2) which are staggered in time with respect to each other.

L'invention se rapporte à un système de sécurité pour les occupants d'une voiture, en particulier un système de retenue, tel que sac à air, tendeur de ceinture ou similaire, comportant un dispositif de détection ayant au moins deux capteurs, un dispositif de traitement avec au moins deux circuits de traitement pour les signaux des capteurs, un système ordinateur et un circuit déclencheur composé d'au moins deux niveaux pour un dispositif de sécurité. Afin d'assurer une sécurité élevée à des coûts relativement réduits, il est proposé que le système ordinateur (12), conçu comme système mono-ordinateur (30), soit conçu de telle façon qu'il traite les données des deux circuits de traitement (8, 9) dans deux programmes (P1, P2) décalés dans le temps l'un par rapport à l'autre.
