Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft oxidische Heterogenkatalysatoren auf der Grundlage von stickstoffhaltigen Polymeren, an die oxidisches Osmium in einer niedrigeren als der achtwertigen Oxidationsstufe gebunden ist, ihre Verwendung zur Überführung olefinischer Bindungen in vicinale Diole und ein Verfahren einer solchen Hydroxylierung. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Katalysatoren auf der Grundlage von stickstoffhaltigen Polymeren, auf die ein Osmiumoxid aus einem Lösungsmittel niedergeschlagen ist, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß man (a) ein in Alkoholen und/oder Äthern lösliches Osmiumoxid in Gegenwart eines solchen Alkohols und/oder Äthers mit einem in Wasser und dem angewandten Alkohol und Äther unlöslichen stickstoffhaltigen Polymeren umsetzt und den Katalysator abtrennt und trocknet, oder (b) eine Osmium-Carbonyl-Verbindung in einem Alkohol und/oder Äther mit stickstoffhaltigen Polymeren umsetzt und das Osmium mit H2O2 zu einer höheren, jedoch nicht der achtwertigen Oxidationsstufe oxidiert.

The invention relates to oxidic heterogeneous catalysts based on nitrogen-containing polymers to which oxidic osmium is bonded in an oxidation number lower than the octavalent number, their use in converting olefinic bonds into vicinal diols and a process for such hydroxylation. The invention also relates to a process for manufacturing catalysts based on nitrogen-containing polymers on which osmium oxide is precipitated from a solvent, in which (a) an osmium oxide soluble in alcohols and/or ethers is reacted in the presence of such an alcohol and/or ether with a nitrogen-containing polymer which is insoluble in water and the related alcohol and ether and the catalyst is separated out and dried, or (b) an osmium carbonyl compound is reacted in an alcohol and/or ether with nitrogen-containing polymers and the osmium is oxidised with H2O2 to a higher but not the octavalent oxidation number.

Catalyseurs hétérogènes par voie d'oxydation à base de polymères azotés auxquels l'osmium oxydé est lié dans un nombre d'oxydation inférieur au nombre octavalent, leur utilisation pour transformer des liaisons oléfiniques en diols adjacents et procédé d'hydroxylation. Selon un procédé de production de catalyseurs à base de polymères azotés, sur lesquels on provoque la précipitation d'un oxyde d'osmium contenu dans un solvant, (a) on fait réagir un oxyde d'osmium soluble dans des alcools et/ou des éthers en présence d'un tel alcool et/ou éther avec un polymère azoté insoluble dans l'éther et l'alcool utilisés, ainsi que dans l'eau, puis on sépare et sèche le catalyseur ainsi obtenu, ou (b) on fait réagir un composé de carbonyle et d'osmium dans un alcool et/ou éther avec des polymères azotés et on oxyde l'osmium avec du H2O2 jusqu'à un nombre supérieur d'oxydation qui soit inférieur au nombre octavalent d'oxydation.
