Abstract

The object of the invention is a method of manufacturing a filter resistant to high temperatures and mechanical stress, in which the filter is formed from a fibre net by securing it to a suitable framework. In accordance with the invention a double-sided knitted fabric is knitted from a fibre resistant to high temperatures, e.g. Nomex R fibre (7), on a knitting machine with two rows of needles, and a reinforcing fibre resistant to high temperatures, e.g. Aramid R fibre (1) is fed on top of the fabric, and on top of this a new double-sided fabric, when the reinforcing fibre (1) remains in the channels formed by the transverse loops (2, 3, 4) of the knitted structure, after which a piece of this fibre structure is secured to a suitable frame.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour la fabrication d'un filtre résistant aux températures élevées et aux contraintes mécaniques au cours duquel on réalise ledit filtre à partir d'un réseau de fibres que l'on fixe à un encadrement approprié. Selon l'invention un tissu tricoté à double face est tricoté en utilisant une fibre résistante aux températures élevées, par exemple, une fibre Nomex R (7). Le tricotage s'effectue sur un métier à tricoter doté de deux rangées d'aiguilles. Une fibre de renforcement résistante aux températures élevées, par exemple, une fibre Aramid R (1), est placée sur ledit tissu tricoté, sur lequel est superposé un nouveau tissu à double face. Ladite fibre de renforcement (1) reste dans les canaux créés par les brins transversaux (2, 3, 4) de la structure tricotée, une partie de ladite structure étant ensuite fixée à un encadrement approprié.
