A device for providing an oxygenated fluorocarbon liquid, comprising a first container and a second container, the first container having a fluorocarbon liquid therein, wherein the second container is adapted to hold a gas, and wherein the first container is in contact with the interior of the second container through a material that is permeable to the gas but not to the fluorocarbon liquid. The first container may be inside the second container, or the second container may be inside the first container. The gas is an oxygen-containing gas. Also disclosed is a method for dissolving a gas in a fluorocarbon liquid, comprising the steps of providing a first container and a second container, the first container having a fluorocarbon liquid therein, wherein the second container is adapted to hold a gas, and wherein the first container is in contact with the interior of the second container through a material that is permeable to the gas but not to the fluorocarbon liquid, and inserting a gas in the second container and allowing the gas to permeate through the gas permeable material into the first container to oxygenate the fluorocarbon liquid in the first container.

Le dispositif décrit, qui sert à produire un liquide à base de fluorocarbone oxygéné, comprend un premier récipient et un second récipient. Le premier récipient contient un liquide à base de fluorocarbone et le second récipient est destiné à contenir un gaz. Le premier récipient se trouve en contact avec l'intérieur du second récipient par l'intermédiaire d'un matériau perméable au gaz mais imperméable au liquide à base de fluorocarbone. Le premier récipient peut être placé à l'intérieur du second récipient ou le second récipient peut être placé à l'intérieur du premier récipient. Le gaz est un gaz contenant de l'oxygène. Est également décrit un procédé de dissolution d'un gaz dans un liquide à base de fluorocarbone, qui consiste à prévoir un premier récipient et un second récipient, le premier récipient contenant un liquide à base de fluorocarbone et le second récipient étant destiné à contenir un gaz, le premier récipient se trouvant en outre en contact avec l'intérieur du second récipient par l'intermédiaire d'un matériau perméable au gaz mais imperméable au liquide à base de fluorocarbone, puis à introduire un gaz dans le second récipient et à laisser passer le gaz à travers le matériau perméable au gaz jusqu'à l'intérieur du premier récipient, afin d'oxygéner le liquide à base de fluorocarbone contenu dans le premier récipient.
