The heat exchanger for liquid such as coffee in accordance with the present invention is formed by inserting a bottomed cylinder having helical grooves in its circumferetial surface and made of a material having high heat-exchangeability such as aluminium, stainless steel, titanium or other alloys into an outer cylinder, bringing outer projections of the helical grooves into contact with, or close to, the inner surface of the outer cylinder in such a manner as to permit a liquid to be heat-exchanged to flow inside the helical path formed by the outer cylinder and the bottomed cylinder, packing a heat-exchanging medium into the bottomed cylinder to effect heat-exchanging between the heat-exchanging medium and the liquid to be heat-exchanged. In this manner, heat-exchanging having high heat efficiency can be performed and after the heat-exchanging of the liquid such as coffee, cleaning and handling of the device can be made extremely easily.

Echangeur de chaleur pour liquides, par exemple du café, composé d'un cylindre muni d'un fond, présentant des rainures hélicoïdales sur sa surface circonférentielle et formé d'un matériau présentant un grand pouvoir d'échange thermique, tel que l'aluminium, l'acier inoxydable, le titane ou d'autres alliages. Ce cylindre est placé dans un cylindre externe, ce qui amène les éléments en saillie à l'extérieur des rainures hélicoïdales en contact avec la surface interne du cylindre externe, ou à proximité de cette surface, de manière à permettre l'écoulement d'un liquide, destiné à subir un échange de chaleur, à l'intérieur du chemin hélicoïdal formé par le cylindre externe et le cylindre muni d'un fond, un milieu d'échange de chaleur étant placé dans le cylindre muni d'un fond, afin de permettre l'échange de chaleur entre le milieu d'échange de chaleur et le liquide. Cet agencement permet d'effectuer un échange de chaleur présentant un bon rendement thermique; il rend en outre extrêmement simples le nettoyage et la manipulation de l'appareil.
