Das druckfeste Vakuumabteil (2) ist in mehrere Vakuum-Kühlfächer (7) aufgeteilt, deren Türen (8) aus einem verwindungssteifen Rahmen (11) mit grossflächigen Fenstern (12) bestehen. Damit kann in jedes Vakuum-Fach (7) geschaut werden, ohne dessen Türen (8) zu öffnen. In die Glasfenster (12) sind Belüftungsventile (15) eingelassen, damit bei Bedarf die Türen (8) überhaupt geöffnet werden können. Jedes einzelne Fach (7) ist beleuchtet. Die Fächertüren (8) sind mit progressiven Doppellippendichtungen (18) abgedichtet. Diese dichten umso besser ab, je geringer der Druck im Inneren des Vakuum-Kühlfaches (7) wird. In den Böden (21) und je nach Modell auch in den Wänden (22) der einzelnen Vakuum-Kühlfächer (7) sind Kühlschlangen (20) mäanderförmig eingelassen, um einen möglichst direkten Wärmefluss vom Kühlgut zum Kühlmittel zu gewährleisten. Je nach Modell verfügen die Komplett-Geräte auch über ein ausfahrbares konventionelles Kühlabteil (2) und ein konventionelles Gefrierabteil (4), die getrennt bedienbar sein können. Das Kühlaggregat (44) und die Vakuumpumpe (24) sind auf einem ausfahrbaren Chassis (45) montiert, das sich hinter dem geschlitzen Entlüftungblech (6) im Boden des Gerätes verbirgt.

The pressure-resistant vacuum compartment (2) is subdivided into several vacuum refrigerating compartments (7) the doors (8) of which consist of torsion-resistant frames (11) with large windows (12). It is therefore possible to see into each vacuum compartment (7) without opening its door (8). Ventilation valves (15) are inserted in the glass windows (12) so that the doors (8) can in fact be opened, if necessary. The compartments (7) are individually lit. The compartment doors (8) are sealed with progressive double-lip seals (18). The lower the pressure inside the vacuum refrigerating compartment (7), the more effective are the seals. Serpentine refrigerating pipes (20) incorporated in the bases (21) and, in certain models, in the walls (22) of the individual vacuum refrigerating compartments (7) ensure maximum direct heat flow from the goods to be refrigerated to the refrigerant. Depending on the model, the assembled appliances also have a retractable conventional refrigerating compartment (2) and a conventional freezing compartment (4) which can be operated separately. The refrigerating aggregate (44) and the vacuum pump (24) are mounted on a pull-out frame (45) which is concealed behind the sheet metal ventilation grill (6) in the base of the appliance.

Le compartiment à vide (2) résistant à la pression est subdivisé en plusieurs compartiments frigorifiques (7), dont les portes (8) consistent en un cadre résistant à la torsion (11) avec de grandes fenêtres (12). On peut ainsi voir à l'intérieur de chacun des compartiments à vide (7) sans en ouvrir les portes (8). Les vitres (12) sont dotées de soupapes d'aération (15) qui permettent cependant l'ouverture de portes (8) en cas de besoin. Les compartiments (7) sont tous éclairés. Les portes (8) des compartiments sont étanchéifiées à l'aide de garnitures d'étanchéité progressives à doubles lèvres (18), dont l'effet d'étanchéification augmente à mesure que diminue la pression à l'intérieur du compartiment frigorifique à vide (7). Des serpentins (20) sont encastrés dans le fond (21) et, dans certains modèles, également dans les parois (22) des différents compartiments à vide (7), et assurent un passage relativement direct de la chaleur de la matière à réfrigérer au produit réfrigérant. Certains modèles complets sont en outre dotés d'un compartiment de réfrigération (2) classique à tiroir et d'un compartiment de congélation classique (4), qui peuvent fonctionner séparément. Le groupe frigorifique (44) et la pompe à vide (24) sont montés sur un châssis à chariot (45) qui est caché dans le fond de l'appareil, derrière la grille d'aération (6).
