Abstract

Combustion synthesis process using microwave energy. The process uses microwave energy to ignite at least two reactants which are capable of reacting exothermically to produce a reaction product. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, combustion of the reactants is also controlled using microwave energy.

Selon un procédé de synthèse par combustion au moyen de micro-ondes, on utilise l'énergie de micro-ondes afin d'allumer au moins deux réactifs capables de réagir exothermiquement de façon à produire un produit de réaction. Selon un mode de réalisation de l'invention, la combustion des réactifs est aussi commandée par des micro-ondes.
