Abstract

In the manufacture of PVC cellular plastic, a liquid plastic mixture is admixed with fibres in an amount of at most 1 percent by weight fibres, preferably carbon fibres having a length of about 1 cm, which fibres are distributed in the expanded cellular plastic isotropically with respect to both position and alignment. The cellular plastic is effective to dampen electromagnetic radiation within the radar range to at least 1-3 dB per cm.

Lors de la fabrication de mousse plastique CPV, un mélange de plastique liquide est mélangé à des fibres dans une quantité d'au maximum 1 % en poids de fibres, de préférence des fibres de carbone ayant une longueur d'environ 1 cm, lesdites fibres étant distribuées dans la mousse plastique expansée de façon isotropique quant à leurs positions et alignement. La mousse plastique ainsi obtenue est efficace pour amortir les radiations électromagnétiques dans le domaine d'action du radar jusqu'à au moins 1-3 dB per cm.
