An object of the present invention is to provide a method of manufacturing non-oriented electromagnetic steel plates, which is capable of providing excellent particle growth characteristics of such steel plates in a final annealing step, whereby the excellent magnetic characteristics thereof can be obtained. Accordingly, the present invention is capable of facilitating the agglomeration and bulking of A1N particles in a hot rolled plate annealing step by subjecting the steel plate to low-temperature heating during the hot rolling thereof with a specific steel composition used, and thereby minimizing the re-solid-solution of A1N particles in a slab cooling step; reducing the rate of generation of scale by practicing a low-temperature take-up operation; and removing the scale completely by practicing a scale removing operation after the completion of the hot rolling step. The annealing of a hot rolled plate in a non-oxidizing atmosphere minimizes the oxidation and nitriding of the hot rolled plates during the annealing thereof. The conditions which enable the agglomeration and bulking of A1N particles to be effected in a suitable manner are controlled as required by the magnetic characteristics and cost efficiency of production of the steel plates.

Est décrit un procédé pour fabriquer des tôles d'acier électromagnétiques non orientées, qui est susceptible de donner d'excellentes caractéristiques de croissance particulaire de ces tôles d'acier dans une étape de recuit final, permettant d'obtenir d'excellentes caractéristiques magnétiques. La présente invention facilite l'agglomération et l'expansion des particules d'AlN dans une étape de recuit de tôle laminée à chaud, en soumettant la tôle d'acier à un chauffage à basse température pendant son laminage à chaud, avec l'emploi d'une composition d'acier spécifique, et en réduisant ainsi au minimum la redissolution à l'état solide des particules d'AlN dans une étape de refroidissement des brames. L'invention permet également de réduire la cadence de production de battitures de laminage en pratiquant une passe à faible température. On élimine totalement ces battitures en pratiquant une opération d'enlèvement de celles-ci après achèvement de l'étape de laminage à chaud. Le recuit, dans une atmosphère non oxydante, d'une tôle laminée à chaud réduit au minimum son oxydation et sa nitruration. Les conditions qui permettent la réalisation correcte de l'agglomération et de l'expansion des particules d'AlN sont contrôlées selon les exigences des caractéristiques magnétiques et de la rentabilité de production des tôles d'acier.
