A method comprising the steps of: coating at least that part of the surface of a porous ceramic to which a new function is to be imparted with a precursor which can be converted into a ceramic coating having such a function upon heating, coating the entire surface of the porous ceramic with another precursor which can be converted into a gas-impermeable coating upon heating, forming a gas-impermeable coating by heating, subjecting the porous sinter to hot isotropic pressing, and removing the gas-impermeable coating. The purpose ceramic sinter can be produced by this method efficiently in a shortened process.

Le procédé consiste à revêtir au moins la partie de la surface d'une céramique poreuse, à laquelle doit être impartie une nouvelle fonction, avec un précurseur qui peut être converti en un revêtement céramique ayant une telle fonction lorsqu'on le chauffe, à revêtir la surface entière de la céramique poreuse avec un autre précurseur qui peut être converti en un revêtement imperméable aux gaz lorsqu'on le chauffe, à former par chauffage un revêtement imperméable aux gaz, à soumettre l'aggloméré poreux à un pressage isotrope à chaud, et à ôter le revêtement imperméable aux gaz. Ce procédé permet de produire l'aggloméré céramique de manière rentable dans un processus raccourci.
