In a process for producing alloys based on copper and silver resistant to tarnishing, oxidation and scaling, boron and zirconium are added as alloying constituents to the melt. The zirconium boride formed as a result in the melt amounts to less than 1 % by volume.

Dans un procédé pour fabriquer des alliages à base de cuivre et d'argent résistants au ternissement, à l'oxydation et au calaminage, on ajoute au bain de fusion des additifs de bore et de zirconium. Il se forme ainsi dans la matière en fusion du borure de zirconium à raison de moins de 1 % en volume.
