Abstract

A system (60) for controlling the heating of diesel fuel in a fuel tank (12) of a diesel engine system to prevent diesel engine control electronics damage. The system (60) is operable to bypass heat exchanger medium flow through a conduit (94) at predetermined temperature ranges to prevent further heating of diesel fuel in a diesel fuel reservoir tank (12) by the heat exchange medium. More particularly, this mechanically operated system (60) permits identical temperature control means for controlling various temperatures of hydraulic oil in hydraulic oil reservoir tanks. The system (60) may also be utilized to facilitate flow of a heat exchange medium which cools fluid in either diesel fuel or hydraulic oil reservoir tanks.

Le système décrit (60) sert à réguler l'échauffement du carburant diesel contenu dans un réservoir de carburant (12) d'un système à moteur diesel, afin d'empêcher que des dommages soient causés aux circuits électroniques de commande du moteur diesel. Le système (60) fonctionne de façon à détourner le courant du milieu d'échange thermique par un conduit (94) dans des gammes de températures prédéterminées, afin d'empêcher un échauffement ultérieur du carburant diesel contenu dans un réservoir de carburant diesel (12) par le milieu d'échange thermique. Plus particulièrement, ce système actionné mécaniquement (60) permet à des organes de régulation de températures identiques de réguler divers niveaux de températures d'une huile hydraulique contenue dans des réservoirs d'huile hydraulique. Le système (60) peut également être utilisé pour faciliter l'écoulement d'un milieu d'échange thermique qui refroidit un fluide aussi bien dans des réservoirs de carburant diesel que dans des réservoirs d'huile hydraulique
