Abstract

The invention relates to ophthalmology. The device comprises a pulse excimer laser (1) and a shaper (3) for distributing its radiation energy density over the cross-section of the laser beam (2). The shaper (3) consists of an optical cuvette (7), the windows (8) and (9) of which are transparent to the laser radiation, the internal surface of at least one of which has the form of a surface of revolution of the second order, the rotation axis of which coincides with the axis (21) of symmetry of the beam (2). The cuvette (7) is filled with a medium (10) partially absorbing the laser radiation. At the output of the shaper (3) the beam (31) has an approximately parabolic distribution of the energy over the cross-section with the maximum in the center or on the periphery.

L'invention concerne le domaine de l'ophtalmologie. Le dispositif comporte un laser excimer à impulsion (1) et un dispositif de mise en forme (3) pour la distribution de la densité d'énergie de rayonnement sur la section transversale du faisceau laser (2). Le dispositif de mise en forme (3) est composé d'une cuvette (7), dont les fenêtres (8 et 9) sont transparentes au rayonnement laser, et dont au moins une d'entre elles a une surface interne ayant la forme d'une surface de révolution de deuxième ordre, l'axe de rotation de ladite surface coïncidant avec l'axe (21) de symétrie du faisceau (2). La cuvette (7) est remplie d'un milieu (10) qui absorbe partiellement les radiations laser. A la sortie du dispositif de mise en forme (3) le faisceau (31) présente une distribution approximativement parabolique de l'énergie sur la section transversale avec un maximum situé dans le centre ou sur la périphérie.
