(EN)A new medical use for calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) is disclosed. The use of CGRP for the treatment of deficiencies in cerebral blood supply is described. The cerebral blood supply may become deficient for a number of reasons such as in the body's natural response to cerebral bleeding. CGRP is described as being particulary useful in the treatment of subarachnoid haemorrhage.
(FR)Sont décrites une nouvelle utilisation médicale du peptide relatif au gène de calcitonine (CGRP) ainsi que l'utilisation de CGRP pour le traitement de carences dans l'alimentation en sang du cerveau.
