Abstract

A sailing craft in which, in contrast to conventional craft, the normally fixed keel fin is provided with a variability of incidence capability to power the craft, in conjunction with the sail of the craft, through the water on a selected course. The provision of keel fin adjustability results in improved sailing efficiency and overall stability compared with conventional sailing.

Embarcation à voile dans laquelle, contrairement aux embarcations classiques, on peut faire varier l'incidence de l'aile de la quille afin de mouvoir l'embarcation conjointement avec sa voile sur l'eau dans une direction sélectionnée. La capacité d'ajustement de l'aile de la quille a pour résultat d'augmenter l'efficacité de la navigation et la stabilité d'ensemble par rapport à la navigation à voile classique.
