Abstract
(EN) A toner for electrophotography and a process for its production are disclosed. The toner contains 30 to 80 wt %, based on the total weight of resins incorporated in the toner, of a vinyl polymer obtained by continuously supplying a vinyl monomer, a polymerization initiator, and a solvent into a system at 190 to 230°C to conduct polymerization in a liquid state and having a number-average molecular weight of 1,000 to 5,000 and a glass transition point of 40 to 75°C. This toner is excellent in fixability at a high speed or at low temperatures.
(FR) Toner pour électrophotographie et procédé de production. Le toner contient de 30 à 80 % en poids, en fonction du poids total de résines incorporées dans le toner, d'un polymère vinylique obtenu par l'alimentation en continu en un monomère vinylique, un initiateur de polymérisation et un solvant, d'un système à une température comprise entre 190 et 230°C, pour effectuer la polymérisation à l'état liquide. Le polymère vinylique présente un poids moléculaire moyen compris entre 40 et 75°C. Ce toner présente d'excellentes caratéristiques de fixage à grande vitesse ou à basse température.
