Abstract:
(EN) An optical device array comprises an optical path (2) coupled to a polarisation mode splitter (13) arranged to divide an incoming signal into two oppositely polarised components, device elements (8) arranged for processing both components and a polarisation combiner (18) connected for mixing both processed components for delivery to an output lead (14), in which the path of one of the components includes a 90° optical rotation means (7) located both before and after the relevant device element (8), and the type of device element (8) used is a common type for both polarisation components. The device elements (8) may be switches.
(FR) Réseau de dispositifs optiques comprenant un parcours optique (2) couplé à un répartiteur (13) de modes de polarisation agencé pour diviser un signal entrant en deux composantes à polarisation opposée, des éléments (8) agencés pour traiter les deux composantes, et un multiplexeur (18) de polarisation connecté pour mélanger les deux composantes traitées en vue de leur transfert à un fil (14) de sortie. La trajectoire d'une des composantes comporte un moyen (7) de rotation optique à 90° situé à la fois avant et après l'élément (8) correspondant, le type d'élément (8) utilisé étant commun aux deux composantes de polarisation. Les éléments (8) peuvent être des commutateurs.
