Abstract:
(EN) An ice storage and distribution unit includes an ice storage and separation vessel (12) for storing a slurry of ice and solution and separating the ice from the solution. An inlet slurry of ice and solution is introduced into the ice storage and separation vessel (12) through an ice slurry inlet (14). The slurry separates into a bed of ice (17) and a liquid bath of solution (19) in the vessel (12). An agitator (30) is disposed within the vessel (12) for agitating the bed of ice (17) to obtain substantially free-flowing ice. Ice is then discharged from the vessel (12) through an ice outlet (40).
(FR) Appareil de stockage et de distribution de glace comprenant un récipient (12) de stockage et de séparation de glace destiné à stocker une bouillie de glace et de solution, et à séparer la glace de la solution. On introduit une bouillie de glace et de solution d'arrivée dans le récipient (12) de stockage et de séparation de glace, au moyen d'une arrivée (14) de bouillie de glace. La bouillie se sépare en un lit de glace (17) et en un bain liquide de solution (13) dans le récipient (12). Un agitateur (30) disposé à l'intérieur du récipient (12) agite le lit de glace (17) afin d'obtenir une glace s'écoulant sensiblement librement. La glace est ensuite déchargée à partir du récipient (12) à travers la sortie (40) de glace.
