Abstract:
(EN) Thermoplastic pellets are provided having electric conductivity properties in molded articles produced therefrom. The pellets have a thermoplastic resin matrix having incorporated therein a multitude of flexible conductive fibers made from an organic polymer containing a conductive component. Upon processing the pellets under the action of heat into a molded article, conductivity is achieved without adversely affecting the fibers and their ability to impart conductivity to the molded article.
(FR) Les pastilles thermoplastiques décrites ont des propriétés électro-conductrices dans des articles moulés produits à partir de celles-ci. Les pastilles comportent une matrice résineuse thermoplastique dans laquelle est incorporée une multitude de fibres conductrices flexibles obtenues à partir d'un polymère organique contenant un composant conducteur. Lors de la transformation des pastilles, sous l'action de la chaleur, en un article moulé, on obtient la conductivité désirée sans porter préjudice aux fibres et à leur pouvoir de rendre conducteur l'article moulé.
