Abstract:
(EN) An endoscope for insertion into the human body comprises a cylindrical sheath (2) of synthetic material which serves as a catheter, extends between an external observation and control head (1) and an internal intervention tip (3), and is provided with a certain number of hollow longitudinal cylindrical conduits (17, 22, 33) designed to accommodate means for lighting (21), means for observation (14), and means for treatment (7). The sheath (2) is moulded by applying the synthetic material in paste form around longitudinal mandrels whose positions and diameters correspond to the future hollow conduits of the sheath and ultrafine optical lighting fibres.
(FR) Un endoscope destiné à être introduit dans le corps humain comporte une gaine cylindrique (2) en matière synthétique servant de cathéter, s'étendant entre une tête d'observation et de commande externe (1) et une extrémité d'intervention interne (3) et comportant un certain nombre de conduits creux longitudinaux (17, 22, 23) également cylindriques destinés à recevoir des moyens d'éclairage (21), des moyens d'observation (14) et des moyens de traitement (7). La gaine (2) est moulée en apportant la matière synthétique à l'état pâteux autour de mandrins longitudinaux dont les positions et les diamètres correspondent aux futurs conduits creux de cette gaine et de fibres optiques d'éclairage ultrafines.
