Abstract
(EN) A method and apparatus for controlling the temperature of a machine tool (e.g. mill rolls (7, 8)). A coolant or lubricant is fed from a header supply (22) to the primary inlet (21) of a fluidic device (20) such as a vortex valve. The outlet (23) of the fluidic device (20) is directed to or at the machine tool (7, 8). A second flow (36) of coolant or lubricant from reservoir (25) is fed to the control inlet (30) of the fluidic device (20) the second flow (36) being controlled via a feedback signal (27) and valve (26) to vary the second flow (36) in response to workpiece shape or temperature so that the total outflow from the outlet (23) of coolant or lubricant can be varied. The second flow (36) may be at a temperature which differs from that of the first flow so that as the flow rate from outlet (23) to the workpiece rises the temperature of the coolant or lubricant falls.
(FR) Le procédé et l'appareil décrits servent à réguler la température d'une machine-outil (tels que les cylindres de laminage (7, 8)). Un agent réfrigérant ou un lubrifiant sont acheminés depuis un collecteur d'alimentation (22) vers l'entrée primaire (21) d'un élément fluidique (20) telle qu'une soupape à tourbillons. La sortie (23) de l'élément fluidique (20) est dirigée vers la machine-outil (7, 8) ou à proximité. Un second courant (36) d'agent réfrigérant ou de lubrifiant en provenance du réservoir (25) est acheminé vers l'entrée de régulation (30) de l'élément fluidique (20), ce second courant (36) étant régulé par l'intermédiaire d'un signal de renvoi (27) et d'une soupape (26) de façon à varier en réponse à la forme ou à la température de la pièce à usiner, ce qui permet de faire varier le courant de sortie total provenant du point de sortie (23) de l'agent réfrigérant ou du lubrifiant. Le second courant (36) peut avoir une température qui diffère de la température du premier courant, de sorte que, au fur et à mesure qu'augmente le débit du courant allant de la sortie (23) à la pièce à usiner, la température de l'agent réfrigérant ou du lubrifiant diminue.
