Abstract
(EN) A process is described for identification of microorganisms, especially bacteria, in which the microorganisms in an isolate thereof on a solid nutrient medium are removed from a portion of the surface of the nutrient medium; liquid containing extracellular enzyme secreted from the microorganisms is collected from the exposed surface by means of an absorbent material; and substrate is added to the absorbent material with absorbed liquid, after which a possible substrate/enzyme reaction is determined. The process can be used for diagnosis of bacteria such as Legionella sp. in a biological sample.
(FR) Procédé permettant l'identification de microorganismes, notamment des bactéries, dans lequel les microorganismes se trouvant dans un isolat réalisé à partir de ceux-ci, sur un milieu nutritif solide, sont retirés d'une partie de la surface de milieu nutritif. Le procédé consiste à prélever un liquide contenant une enzyme extracellulaire secrétée par les microorganismes, à partir de la surface exposée, au moyen d'une matière absorbante, à ajouter un substrat à la matière absorbante contenant le liqide absorbé, après quoi on peut déterminer une éventuelle réaction substrat/enzyme. On peut utiliser le procédé pour diagnostiquer la présence de bactéries telles que la Legionella sp. dans un échantillon biologique.
