(EN)A method of drying thermosensitive materials comprises their pulverization onto inert bodies circulating along a closed circuit in a flow of a heat carrier at high temperatures, in whose upper part, which represents no more than 1/3 of its cross-section, the heat carrier is made to rotate with an axial speed exceeding by 2 to 3 times the speed of the heat carrier in the remaining part of the flow. An apparatus for implementation of the above method comprises a cylindrical chamber (1) with a conical bottom (2) in which, along the axis of the chamber (1), a blind pipe (3) is mounted with a base (4) forming, together with the walls of the bottom (2) an annular channel (5) for introducing the heat carrier. The chamber (1) contains a grid (8) and a propeller agitator (9) mounted under the latter and secured on a shaft (10) oriented at an angle of 60-90° to the axis of the chamber (1), at a distance from said axis smaller than R, where R is the radius of the chamber (1).
(FR)Un procédé de séchage de matériaux sensibles à la chaleur comprend leur pulvérisation sur des corps inertes mis en circulation en circuit fermé dans un courant d'un caloporteur à des températures élevées et dans la partie supérieure duquel, qui ne dépasse par 1/3 de sa section transversale, le caloporteur est mis en rotation à une vitesse axiale deux ou trois fois supérieure à la vitesse du caloporteur dans la partie restante du courant. Un appareil de mise en ÷uvre du procédé comprend une chambre cylindrique (1) avec un fond conique (2) dans laquelle est monté, le long de l'axe de la chambre (1), un tuyau borgne (3) dont la base (4) forme avec les parois du fond (2) un canal annulaire (5) d'introduction du caloporteur. La chambre (1) contient une grille (8) et un agitateur à hélice (9) monté sous la grille et fixé sur un arbre (10) incliné de 60° à 90° par rapport à l'axe de la chambre (1), écarté dudit axe d'une distance inférieure à R, R étant le rayon de la chambre (1).
