Abstract

A mechanical gearbox, in particular a step-by-step gearbox (10) capable of being rotated via a primary shaft (14) and enabling the conversion of a rotary input movement into a rotary output movement which follows a predefined kinematic law and can be transmitted via an output shaft (16), comprises a safety clutch (22, 26, 28) which is pre-tensioned by a spring and releases in the event of an overload. The spring (30) which provides the preloading of the safety clutch is carried by a preloading element mounted in the gear casing (12) so that it can move along a preset travel in order to increase or reduce the initial tension of the spring. Said preloading element forms part of the output of a cam mechanism, the cam drive of which is locked to rotate with the primary shaft (14) or output shaft (16).

Une transmission mécanique, notamment une transmission progressive pouvant être entraînée en rotation par l'intermédiaire d'un arbre primaire (14) et permettant la conversion d'un mouvement rotatif d'entraînement en un mouvement rotatif de sortie obéissant à un principe cinématique prédéfini et pouvant être reçu sur un arbre de sortie (16), comporte un embrayage de sécurité (22, 26, 28) précontraint par ressort et se libérant en cas de surcharge. Le ressort (30) assurant la précontrainte de l'embrayage de sécurité est supporté sur un élément de précontrainte monté mobile dans le carter (12) selon une course prédéfinie dans le sens d'une augmentation ou d'une diminution de la tension initiale du ressort. Ledit élément de précontrainte fait partie de la sortie d'un mécanisme à came dont la came d'entraînement est accouplée solidaire en rotation avec l'arbre primaire (14) ou l'arbre de sortie (16).
