Straight-acting mold-clamping device in an injection molding machine driven by two motors to close and open the mold at high speeds without large capacity but maintaining a required mold-clamping force. When a moving platen (1) driven by a servo motor (10) reaches the metal mold touch position at high speeds, distribution pulses are applied to an error register in a servo circuit (25) in an amount corresponding to the amount of movement from the metal touch position to a setpoint mold-clamping force generating position. Further, the moving platen is driven in the direction of clamping the metal mold by an induction motor (12) with a large force. Thereafter, pulse signals are supplied from the position detector to the error register accompanying the movement of the moving platen, and the value of the register gradually decreases. As the value of the register becomes zero, it is so determined that the setpoint mold-clamping force generating position is reached, whereby the induction motor is damped by a braking device (13) to generate a required mold-clamping force. The moving platen is then driven by the servo motor at high speeds in the direction of opening the mold.

Dispositif de serrage de moule à entraînement direct pour une machine de moulage à injection entraînée par deux moteurs servant à fermer et à ouvrir le moule à grande vitesse, sans grande puissance mais en maintenant la force de serrage de moule requise. Lorsq'un plateau mobile (1) entraîné par un servomoteur (10) entre en contact avec le moule en métal à grande vitesse, des impulsions de distribution sont appliquées à un registre d'erreur dans un servocircuit (25) en quantité correspondant à la quantité de mouvement depuis le point de contact avec le métal à la position génératrice de force de serrage du moule à la valeur de consigne. Le plateau mobile est en outre entraîné dans le sens se serrage du moule métallique par un moteur à induction (12) avec une force élevée. Des signaux impulsionnels sont ensuite appliqués par le détecteur de position au registre d'erreur suivant le mouvement du plateau mobile, et la valeur du registre diminue graduellement. Lorsque la valeur du registre est égale à zéro, on détermine que la position génératrice de force de serrage du moule à la valeur de consigne a été atteinte, et le moteur à induction est freiné par un dispositif de freinage (13) de manière à produire la force de serrage de moule nécessaire. Le plateau mobile est alors entraîné par le servomoteur à grande vitesse dans le sens d'ouverture du moule.
