Abstract
(EN) Genetically engineered organism in which the phenotypic expression of at least one gene is variegated, characterized by at least one functional gene and at least one inserted DNA sequence transcribable in the organism and capable of interfering with the expression of said gene or genes such that said gene or genes is (are) intermittently expressed. Also included within the scope of the invention are processes for genetically engineering variegation and vector systems.
(FR) Dans un organisme obtenu par génie génétique, l'expression phénotype d'au moins un gène est panachée, ledit organisme se caractérisant par au moins un gène fonctionnel et par au moins une séquence d'ADN insérée pouvant être transcrite dans ledit organisme et capable d'interférer avec l'expression dudit gène ou desdits gènes, de sorte que celui-ci ou ceux-ci est/sont exprimé(s) de façon intermittente. Des procédés permettant d'obtenir par génie génétique des systèmes de panachage et des systèmes vectoriels sont également inclus dans le domaine de la présente invention.
