Abstract
(EN)
The installation for the biological purification of waste water comprises a tank (15) through which passes a uniform flow of waste water, in which tank is partially immersed a driven rotating element (16) covered with aerobic micro-organisms. In order to provide an oxygen supply adapted to the quantity of water treated, the immersed element (16) has a rotation speed which can be adjusted in order to be inversely proportional to said quanitity.

L'installation pour l'épuration biologique des eaux usées comporte une cuve (15) traversée de façon régulière par les eaux, dans laquelle se trouve plongé partiellement un élément (16) tournant entraîné recouvert de micro-organismes aérobies. L'élément plongeur (16), pour assurer un apport en oxygène adapté à la quantité d'eau traitée, a une vitesse de rotation réglable de manière inversement proportionnelle à ladite quantité.
