Abstract
(EN) Simple and rapid method of calibrating an electronic scale (22) arranged to output an n-bit binary signal as a representation of an item being weighed. The method includes the steps of comparing the bits of a first n-bit binary signal representative of a first weighted condition of the scale (22) with the settings of a first set of n manually settable switches (66a, 66b), and comparing the bits of a second n-bit binary signal representative of a second weighted condition of the scale (22) with the settings of a second set of n manually settable switches (66c, 66d). The settings of the switches (66a, 66b, 66c, 66d) are changed, as necessary, in accordance with instructions displayed on display means (32) so as to bring the settings into conformity with the bits of said first and second binary signals. The invention is also concerned with methods of recalibrating and zero balancing the scale (22).
(FR) Procédé simple et rapide d'étalonnage d'une échelle électronique (22) conçue pour sortir un signal binaire à n bits en tant que réprésentation d'un article en cours de pesage. Le procédé comprend les étapes de comparaison des bits d'un premier signal binaire à n bits représentatif d'un premier état pondéré de l'échelle (22) avec les réglages d'un premier ensemble de n commutateurs manuellement réglables (66a, 66b), et de comparaison des bits d'un second signal binaire à n bits représentatif d'un second état pondéré de l'échelle (22) avec les réglages d'un second ensemble de n commutateurs manuellement réglables (66c, 66d). Les réglages des commutateurs (66a, 66b, 66c, 66d) sont modifiés selon les besoins en fonction des instructions affichées sur de moyens d'affichage (32) de manière à rendre les réglages conformes aux bits des premier et second signaux binaires.
