Abstract
(EN) A scanner including a source of coherent or substantially coherent radiation, a radial hologon, a f$g(u) lens and a target. Between the light source and the hologon there are means for forming radiation from the source into a collimated beam having an oblong cross-sectional shape and for directing the beam onto the hologon at a predetermined incident angle and with the long axis of the oblong cross-sectional shape of the beam radial of the axis of rotation of the hologon. Two prisms (56, 58) are provided between the hologon and the lens means for so modifying the cross-sectional shape of the beam (169, 191) that the spot at the target station has a selected shape and orientation. The prisms are mounted in an articulated mount (101) having adjustment (143) means, which allows rotation of the prisms so as to correct both bow in the scan line and incorrect placement of the scan line on the target. Such bow and incorrect placement could be created by a change of the wavelength of the radiation and by the pitch of the grating lines of the hologon being different to nominal.
(FR) Un appareil d'exploration optique comprend une source de rayonnement cohérent ou essentiellement cohérent, un hologone radial, une lentille f$g(u) et une cible. Entre la source lumineuse et l'hologone, on place des moyens destinés à transformer le rayonnement provenant de la source en un faisceau aligné ayant une section oblongue et à diriger le faisceau sur l'hologone selon un angle d'incidence prédéterminé et avec l'axe longitudinal de la section transversale oblongue du faisceau radial par rapport à l'axe de rotation de l'hologone. Deux prismes (56, 58) sont placés entre l'hologone et la lentille, afin de modifier la forme à section transversale oblongue du faisceau (169, 191), de telle sorte que le point d'incidence du faisceau sur la cible présente une forme et une orientation sélectionnées. Les prismes sont montés dans une structure articulée (101) pourvue d'un moyen de réglage (143), qui permet la rotation des prismes de façon à corriger à la fois l'arc de la ligne d'exploration et le placement incorrect de la ligne d'exploration sur la cible. L'origine dudit arc et dudit placement incorrect pourrait être une modification de la longueur d'onde de rayonnement et un écart des lignes de quadrillage de l'hologone différent de la valeur nominale.
