Abstract:
(EN) An ultrasonic inspection device having an array of opposing transducers (70, 80, 90) that longitudinally, transversely, and obliquely transmit sonic beams through tubular members (T) having a range of diameters such that refracted beams meet on the inner surface of the members. Alternate halves of the array of transducers transmit and receive sonic beams reflected from defects in the tubular members (T) using both the pulse-echo and pitch-catch methods.
(FR) Un dispositif de contrôle par ultrasons possède un réseau de transducteurs (70, 80, 90) situés les uns en regard des autres qui, dans les sens longitudinal, transversal, et oblique transmettent des faisceaux soniques à travers des organes tubulaires (T) présentant une gamme de diamètres telle que les faisceaux réfractés se rencontrent sur la surface intérieure des organes. Des moitiés alternées du réseau de transducteurs émettent et reçoivent des faisceaux soniques réfléchis par les défauts dans les organes tubulaires (T) en utilisant à la fois la méthode par écho d'impulsion et la méthode par prise de hauteurs de sons.
