Abstract:
(EN) A method and apparatus for disposing of toxic waste materials by combustion in a modified piston type internal combustion engine (7). The engine (7) contains a combustion chamber which is divided into a variable volume primary chamber (35) and a fixed volume secondary chamber (37), in which the combustion occurs. The secondary chamber (37) contains a source of carbon (77) which enhances the combustion of the toxic waste materials.
(FR) Procédé et dispositif d'élimination de déchets toxiques par combustion dans un moteur à combustion interne (7) du type à piston modifié. Le moteur (7) contient une chambre de combustion qui est divisée en une chambre primaire à volume variable (35) et une chambre secondaire à volume fixe (37) où la combustion a lieu. La chambre secondaire (37) contient une source de carbone (77) qui améliore la combustion des déchets toxiques.
