Abstract:
(EN) A propeller for a high-speed sea-vessel comprises a hub (1) mounted on an inclined propeller shaft and blades (2) fixed to it, each of the blades being diverted, along its whole length, in the direction opposite to that of rotation of the propeller shaft. The angle (X) of divergence of the leading edge in the root cross-section (3), formed by the tangent (4) in the point of the leading edge in that cross-section and by the line (5) drawn to the same point perpendicularly to the geometrical axis of the hub (1) equals 30o-45o, whereas the angles of divergence of the leading edge of each blade (2) in subsequent cross-sections increase continuously .
(FR) Une hélice pour un vaisseau maritime à grande vitesse comporte un moyeu (1) monté sur un arbre à hélice inclinée ainsi que des pales (2) fixées audit moyeu, chacune des pales étant déplacée sur la totalité de sa longueur dans le sens opposé de la rotation de l'arbre de l'hélice. L'angle (x) de divergence du bord d'attaque dans la section de la racine, formé par la tangente (4) dans le point du bord d'attaque de ladite section et par une ligne (5) rejoignant le même point perpendiculaire à l'axe géométrique du moyeu (1) est égal à 30o-45o, alors que les angles de divergence du bord d'attaque de chaque pale (2) dans les sections successives augmentent constamment.
