Abstract
(EN) In an intallation containing at least one stationary unit (5) with a radio transmitter and a ratio receiver, both with short range, and at least one, preferably several portable, wireless telephone sets (4) with a radio transmitter and a radio receiver, both with short range, for exchanging telephone messages with one of the stationary units in the installation (1, 2, 3) the stationary units (5) are each adapted simultaneously to exchange telephone calls with more than one portable telephone set (4) on radio speech channels, adaptively selected among a plurality of radio speech channels common to all radio transmitters (9, 31) and radio recivers (10, 32), there also being included a radio exchange (6) to which the stationary units (5) are connected, this radio exchange being adapted to switch a telephone call with decreasing intelligibility between a portable telephone set (4B) and a first stationary unit (5A) to a telephone call with increasing intelligibility between the same portable telephone set and a second stationary unit (5B). A compressor (20, 41) coacts with each of the radio transmitters (9, 31) for time-compressing the speech signals, and an expander (12, 42) coacts with each of the radio receivers (10, 32) for time-expanding the speech signals.
(FR) Dans une installation comportant au moins une unité stationnaire (5) equipée d'un émetteur et d'un récepteur radio, tous deux de faible portée, et au moins un, de préférence plusieurs postes télephoniques (4) sans fil portatifs équipés d'un émetteur et d'un récepteur radio, tous deux de faible portée, permettant d'échanger des messages télephoniques avec l'une des unités stationnaires de l'installation (1, 2, 3), les unités stationnaires (5) sont chacune conçues pour échanger simultanément des appels télephoniques avec plus d'un poste télephonique portatif (4) sur des canaux radio sélectionnés de manière appropriée parmi une pluralité de canaux radio communs à tous les émetteurs-radio (9, 31) et à tous les récepteurs-radio (10, 32). Il est également inclu un poste de relais hertzien (6) auquel sont reliées les unités stationnaires (5) ledit poste permettant de commuter un appel téléphonique avec une intelligibilité décroissante entre un poste téléphonique portatif (4P) et une première unité stationnaire (5A) en un appel téléphonique avec une intelligibilité croissante entre le même poste téléphonique portatif et une seconde unité stationnaire (5B). Un compresseur (20, 41) agit de concert avec chacun des émetteurs-radio (9, 31) pour comprimer dans le temps les signaux de parole, et un étaleur de bande (12, 42) agit de concert avec chacun des récepteurs-radio (10, 32) pour étaler dans le temps les signaux de parole.
