In typewriters and similar machines, in order to perform several functions use is made, for example, of either a separate drive element for each function or of a common drive motor. A change of functions in a common drive motor, in the existing state of the art, is possible by reversing the rotation direction of the motor or by operating an intermediate clutch. The purpose of the invention is to create a common drive device for different functions in typewriters or similar office machines which is less costly and offers a simple and compact design. This problem is solved by the fact that the stator (17) and the rotor (11) of a stepping motor (12) can be operated and locked alternatively for the transmission of the energy supplied by the motor (12) to a first or a second drive mechanism. Since the stator and rotor (11) of the same stepping motor (12) can drive different functions, an inexpensive drive system can be produced.

Dans les machines à écrire ou les machines de bureau semblables il est connu d'utiliser par exemple pour plusieurs fonctions soit un élément d'entraînement particulier pour chaque fonction, soit un moteur commun. Un changement de fonction dans le cas d'un moteur commun dans l'art antérieur est possible en inversant le sens de rotation du moteur ou en actionnant un embrayage intermédiaire. L'invention a pour but de créer un dispositif d'entraînement commun pour différentes fonctions dans des machines à écrire ou machines de bureau semblables, qui soit moins coûteux et qui permette une construction simple et compacte. Ce problème est résolu par le fait que le stator (17) et le rotor (11) d'un moteur pas à pas (12) peuvent être alternativement actionnés et bloqués pour la transmission de l'énergie fournie par le moteur (12) à un premier ou à un deuxième mécanisme d'entraînement. Le fait que le stator et le rotor (11) du moteur pas à pas (12) peuvent entraîner différentes fonctions permet de réaliser un dispositif d'entraînement à bon marché.
