Abstract:
(EN) A machine for measuring the roughness of a surface of an object material (18) by converting into a digital signal an analog output signal from a displacement detector (32) which is adapted to electrically detect the rotational displacement of a measuring arm (5), and computing this output signal. This surface roughness measuring machine includes a timing circuit (40) for dividing a measuring length, which is set by a setter (42), uniformly by a sampling number N which is the nth power of 2, and controlling an A/D converter (39) during a sampling operation.
(FR) Machine de mesure de la rugosité d'une surface d'un objet ou matériau (10), convertissant en un signal numérique un signal analogique de sortie produit par un détecteur de déplacement (32) qui détecte électriquement le déplacement rotatif d'un bras de mesure (5), et effectuant un traitement numérique sur ce signal de sortie. La machine ci-décrite comprend un circuit cadenceur (40) permettant de diviser uniformément une longueur de mesure, déterminée par un organe de régulation (42), par un nombre N d'échantillonnages qui est la nème puissance de 2, et de commander un convertisseur A/N (39) pendant une opération d'échantillonnage.
