Abstract:
(EN) In a device for forming an initial hole in a wire cut discharge machining apparatus which comprises a frame (42) mounted on a vertical slide (14) which vertically feeds an upper wire guide unit (28) that guides an electrode wire (30), an initial hole forming member (50) which can move up and down relative to the frame (42) and which has a rotary chuck (60) to hold a hollow electrode rod (58), electric switches (70, 72) which produce signals when the initial hole forming member (50) is at a position for forming an initial hole and is at a retracted position, and operation means (54) which moves the initial hole forming member (50) up and down, the improvement wherein so far as it is detected that the initial hole forming member (50) is located at a position to form the initial hole, the upper wire guide unit (28) is prevented from moving toward the initial hole forming member (50).
(FR) Dispositif permettant de former un trou initial dans un appareil d'usinage par décharge à découpe par fil comprenant un cadre (42) monté sur une glissière verticale (14) qui fait avancer verticalement une unité supérieure de guidage de fil (28) qui guide un fil d'électrode (30), un organe de formage de trou initial (50) pouvant se déplacer vers le haut et vers le bas par rapport au cadre (42) et possédant un mandrin rotatif (60) qui tient une tige creuse d'électrode (58), des commutateurs électriques (70,72) qui produisent des signaux lorsque l'organe de formage de trou initial (50) se trouve dans une position de formage d'un trou initial et lorsqu'il se trouve dans une position rétractée, et un organe d'actionnement qui déplace l'organe de formage de trou initial (50) vers le haut et vers le bas. Lorsque l'on détecte que l'organe de formage de trou initial (50) se trouve dans une position où doit être formé le trou initial, on empêche l'unité supérieure de guidage de fil (28) de se déplacer vers l'organe de formage de trou initial (50).
