Abstract:
(EN) An output load circuit (30:50:73:) having a non-linear transfer characteristic is coupled to the differential output of a conventional quadrature detector which produces a more linear version of the S-curve characteristics of the detector. The load circuit, for instance, comprises differentially connected transistors (58, 60) each having their collector-emitter paths coupled to respective outputs of the multiplier portion of the quadrature demodulator wherein the non-linear differential output signal therefrom drives the non-linear transfer function of the base-emitter junction of the differentially coupled transistors to produce a linear output voltage at the base thereof.
(FR) Un circuit de charge de sortie (30:50:73:) possédant des caractéristiques de transfert non linéaires est couplé à la sortie différentielle d'un détecteur de quadrature conventionnel qui produit une version plus linéaire des caracteristiques de la courbe S du détecteur. Le circuit de charge, par example, comprend des transistors reliés de manière différentielle (58, 60), les chemins collecteur-émetteur de chaque transistor étant couplés aux sorties respectives de la partie multiplicatrice du démodulateur de quadrature, dans lequel le signal de sortie différentielle non linéaire produit commande la fonction de transfert non linéaire de la jonction base-émetteur des transistors couplés de manière différentielle pour produire à leur base une tension de sortie linéaire.
