Abstract:
(EN) A conical horn microwave antenna has a reflector (15) positioned at the large end of a conical feed horn (17) which has the side walls (26) of the horn (17) wider than the projected effective area of the reflector (15) such that microwave absorber material (22, 31, 32, 33, 34) lining the feed horn does not obstruct wave propagation between the feed horn and the effective reflector area.
(FR) Une antenne micro-ondes à cornet conique possède un réflecteur (15) placé à l'extrémité large d'un cornet d'alimentation conique (17), les parois latérales (26) du cornet (17) étant plus larges que la superficie effective projetée du réflecteur (15), si bien que le matériau d'absorbeur de micro-ondes (22, 31, 32, 33, 34) doublant le cornet d'alimentation n'entrave pas la propagation des ondes entre le cornet d'alimentation et la superficie effective du réflecteur.
