Abstract
(EN)
A high-velocity, multisolid fluidized bed process utilizes a reactor (1) having a reduced-cross-sectional area (6) in a lower region wherein large bed particles (4) are fluidized and/or entrained by high-velocity, fluidizing gas (2). If they are entrained by the gas, they are lifted to the enlarged-cross-section, upper region (7) wherein the reduced velocity fluidizing gas now either fluidizes the particles and/or allows them to drop back to the reduced-cross-section zone. Meanwhile, the fluidizing gas entrains fine bed particles (5) at high velocity through the reactor. The fine particles are recycled out the top of the rector and back into the reactor in the reduced-cross-section zone.

Un procédé à lit fluidisé multisolide à haute vitesse utilise un réacteur (1) avec une zone de section transversale réduite (6) dans une région inférieure où de grosses particules de lit (4) sont fluidisées et/ou entraînées par le gaz de fluidisation à haute vitesse (2). Si elles sont entraînées par le gaz, elles sont soulevées jusqu'à la région supérieure de section transversale élargie (7) où le gaz de fluidisation à vitesse réduite provoque la fluidisation des particules et/ou leur permet de retomber dans la zone de section transversale réduite. Simultanément, le gaz de fluidisation entraîne les fines particules de lit (5) à grande vitesse à travers le réacteur. Ces fines particules sont recyclées en partant du sommet du réacteur pour revenir dans le réacteur au niveau de la zone de section transversale réduite.
