4-Chloro-4-methyl-5-methylene-1,3-dioxolan-2-one, as a novel intermediate for synthesizing 4-chloromethyl-5-methyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-one useful as a modifier for preparing prodrugs. The novel compound yields the end product in a high yield by the rearrangement reaction.

4-chloro-4-méthyl-5-méthylène-1,3-dioxolan-2-one, nouvel intermédiaire dans la synthèse de 4-chlorométhyl-5-méthyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-one utile en tant que modificateur dans la préparation de promédicaments. Le nouveau composé permet d'obtenir le produit final avec un rendement élevé par une réaction de redisposition.
