Abstract:
(EN) A de-watering pump is designed for eliminating liquids in small diameter holes. In one configuration the de-watering pump is submerged beneath the water line (12). Pressurized air is introduced to pressurize the water in the hole. The pressurized air and water is forced upward and is directed through slanted channels (44). The slanted channels (44) cause a turbulence in the pressurized water which aids in the departure of the water in the exit line (54). In the second configuration an expandable air sack (72) is designed such that the outer walls (74) of the air sack can expand to interface with the inner walls (70) of the hole which is to be de-watered. Pressurized air is forced into the hole. The pressurized sack (72) prevents the escape of air up through the hole and directs the pressurized air and water from the hole out through the escape line.
(FR) Pompe de dessèchement permettant d'éliminer les liquides dans des trous de petit diamètre. Dans une configuration la pompe de dessèchement est submergée sous la ligne d'eau (12). De l'air sous pression est introduit pour pressuriser l'eau dans le trou. L'air et l'eau sous pression sont forcés vers le haut et dirigés au travers de canaux inclinés (44). Les canaux inclinés (44) provoquent une turbulence dans l'eau sous pression qui facilite le départ de l'eau dans la ligne de sortie (54). Dans la deuxième configuration un sac d'air dilatable (72) est conçu de manière que les parois extérieures (74) du sac d'air peuvent se dilater pour former une interface avec les parois intérieures (70) du trou à dessécher.
