Abstract:
(EN) An alloy for hot dipping comprising 3.5 to 5.0 wt. % of Al, 0.05 to 0.5 wt. % of Si, 0.01 to 0.5 wt. % of Mg, and the balance of Zn. A coating formed by using this alloy shows excellent corrosion resistance and adhesive properties and depresses elution of iron into the hot dipping bath, thus making the bath composition stable and, therefore, improving hot dipping workability markedly. Molten zinc-plated steel strips and materials having the alloy coating of the present invention have excellent adhesive properties of the coating so that they show excellent workability.
(FR) Un alliage pour la trempe à chaud comprend de 3,5 à 5,0 % en poids de Al, de 0,05 à 0,5 % en poids de Si, de 0,01 à 0,5 % en poids de Mg, le solde étant du Zn. Un revêtement formé en utilisant cet alliage présente d"excellentes propriétés d"adhésion et de résistance à la corrosion et diminue l"élution du fer dans le bain de trempe à chaud, rendant ainsi stable la composition du bain et, par conséquent, améliorant sensiblement la maniabilité de la trempe à chaud. Des bandes d"acier plaquées de zinc en fusion et des matériaux ayant le revêtement de l"alliage de la présente invention ont d"excellentes propriétés d"adhésion du revêtement leur donnant d"excellentes propriétés d"usinabilité.
