Abstract:
(EN) Mechanical seals are improved in wear properties, erosion, corrosion and galling resistance by forming a diffusion coating in the seal structure surface comprising an intermetallic compound of the seal structure iron, nickel or cobalt base metal and one or more of aluminum, boron, silicon and carbon.
(FR) Les propriétés de résistance à l'usure, à l'érosion, à la corrosion et aux écorchures des joints mécaniques sont améliorées en formant un revêtement par diffusion dans la surface de la structure de joint, comprenant un composé intermétallique du métal de base de fer, nickel ou cobalt de la structure de joint et une ou plusieurs substances parmi l'aluminium, le bore, le silicium et le carbone.
