The installation for tempering a room comprises at least a channel-shaped space for the conduits provided in a wall of the room, particularly the floor, and at least one tempering device provided in said space, wherein air is set in motion. The installation has, in the space for the conduits (4), at least one baffle (3) which drifts respectively diverts air from its main flow direction defined by the direct connection from the suction opening to the outlet mouth. The space for the conduits (4) may be limited on the room side by a heat conductor coating, respectively by a heat accumulator material. In a particularly preferred embodiment, a device for tempering having the shape of a pipe (1) is arranged in the channel (4). Its outer diameter, respectively the outer diameter of a heat conductor sheet metal (27, 27') particularly at least partially black and, preferably, surrounding it at least partially, is slightly larger than the distance between the baffles (3).
