Abstract:
(EN) Process for the selective purification during a hot oxidizing treatment of a uranium-bearing and/or molybdenum-bearing mineral containing arsenical materials, comprising the etching of such mineral by means of an aqueous liquor of sodium or potassium carbonate and/or bicarbonate, said etching being carried out according to conditions of concentrations, temperatures and pressures causing the solubilization of the uranium and/or molybdenum and the arsenic present in the mineral, and collecting a suspension of a solid phase in a liquid phase, and finally separating said phases, the purification process being characterized in that the solubilized arsenic during the etching is extracted in the form of magnesium arseniate by treatment of the medium containing the arsenic by means of a magnesium compound.
(FR) Procédé d'épuration sélective en matière arsénicale au cours d'un procédé d'attaque oxydante à chaud d'un minerai uranifère et/ou molybdénifère contenant des matières arsénicales, consistant à attaquer ce minerai au moyen d'une liqueur aqueuse de carbonate et/ou bicarbonate de sodium ou de potassium, ladite attaque s'effectuant selon des conditions de concentrations, de températures et de pressions provoquant la solubilisation de l'uranium et/ou du molybdène et de l'arsenic présent dans le minerai, puis à recueillir une suspension d'une phase solide dans une phase liquide, enfin, à séparer lesdites phases, qui se caractérise en ce que l'arsenic solubilisé lors de l'attaque est extrait sous la forme d'arséniate de magnésium par traitement du milieu contenant de l'arsenic au moyen d'un composé du magnésium.
