Abstract
(EN) A quick coupling device for a fluid-tight, especially temporary connection to a pipe nipple (1) or the like, comprising a cylindrical casing (5, 14), which is mechanically connectable to the pipe nipple, and a coupling piston (16, 18), which is displaceably disposed in the cylindrical casing and which is permanently connectable to a pressurized fluid conduit (4) and has a through-going opening (27) for the passage of pressurized fluid to said pipe nipple, the coupling piston being displaceable, by the action of a separate actuating fluid (via 30), into sealing (21) contact with the end surface (22) of the pipe nipple (1). A separate actuating piston (29) is displaceable by the actuating fluid and adapted to actuate (32) the coupling piston (16, 18) into said sealing contact, and the coupling piston has a piston surface (25) facing away from the end surface (22) of the pipe nipple and constituting a delimiting surface in an annular chamber (24) in the cylindrical casing (5), which annular chamber (24) communicates (23) with said through-going opening (27), said piston surface (25), by the action of the pressurized fluid, causing a force, directed against the pipe nipple (1), on the coupling piston (16, 18), whereby the sealing contact between the coupling piston and said end surface (22) is improved.
(FR) Dispositif d'accouplement rapide pour un raccord étanche aux fluides, spécialement temporaire, sur un raccord (1) de tuyau ou autre, comprenant un boîtier cylindrique (5, 14) qui peut être connecté mécaniquement au raccord de tuyau, et un piston d'accouplement (16, 18) qui est disposé de manière amovible dans le boîtier cylindrique et qui est connecté en permanence à une conduite de fluide sous pression (4) et possède une ouverture traversante (27) pour le passage de fluide sous pression vers ce raccord de tuyau, le piston d'accouplement étant déplaçable, sous l'action d'un fluide d'actionnement séparé (via 30), en contact d'étanchéité (21) avec la surface extrême (22) du raccord (1) de tuyau. Un piston d'actionnement séparé (29) est déplaçable par le fluide d'actionnement et est adapté pour actionner (32) le piston d'accouplement (16, 18) en contact d'étanchéité, et le piston d'accouplement possède une surface (25) de piston regardant en direction opposée de la surface extrême (22) du raccord de tuyau et constituant une surface de délimitation dans une chambre annulaire (24) dans le boîtier cylindrique (5), laquelle chambre annulaire (24) communique (23) avec cette ouverture traversante (27), cette surface (25) de piston, sous l'action du fluide sous pression, générant une force dirigée contre le raccord (1) de tuyau, sur le piston d'accouplement (16, 18), améliorant ainsi le contact d'étanchéité entre le piston d'accouplement et cette surface extrême (22).
