(EN)A method of applying a coating of polyarylene sulphide to a cooking utensil in which an intimate mixture of a polyarylene sulphide with an aryl ester of an aryl alcohol is applied to the surface of the utensil and subsequently heated to evaporate the ester and cure the coating. The mixture can be a dry powder mixture, a wet powder mixture, a paste, a suspension, a liquid solution or a solid solution. The preferred mixture comprises polyphenylene sulphide and benzyl benzoate.
(FR)Un procede d'application d'un revetement de sulfure de polyarylene sur un ustensile de cuisine consiste a appliquer un melange intime de sulfure de polyarylene avec un ester arylique d'un alcool arylique sur la surface de l'ustensile puis a le chauffer pour evaporer l'ester et polymeriser le revetement. Le melange peut se presenter sous la forme d'un melange pulverulent sec, un melange pulverulent humide, une pate, une suspension dans une solution liquide ou une solution solide. Le melange preferentiel comprend du sulfure de polyphenylene et un benzoate de benzyle.
