(EN)After cutting out the sheathing (2) of a cable (1) at a certain length l0 of the damaged area the cable cores (3) are covered consecutively by a layer (4) of heat-resistant band of the same length, by a thermoplastic layer (5a) of the same length, by a net-shaped layer (6) of a length l1, by a thermoplastic layer (5b) of a length l2 and by a layer (7) of heat-resistant band of a length l3. Then the cable is placed in a mould (8) of a length l4. Before its heating the diameter D of the sheathing (2) at the repaired section equals to 1.15-1.2 of the diameter d of its undamaged sections (2b) and (2c) the above-mentioned lengths interrelating as: l3>l4>l1>l2>l0. The mould (8) with its internal diameter being equal to 0.85-0.9 is pressed during the softening of the thermoplast (5) until the diameter of the sheathing (2) at the repaired section becomes equal to d and then is cooled down. After hardening the sheathing (2), the layer (7) of heat-resistant band is removed. The method may be used everywhere when a quick repair of a cable is required including explosion risk cases.
(FR)Apres sectionnement de la gaine (2) d"un cable (1) a une certaine longueur l0 de la zone endommagee, les conducteurs du cable (3) sont recouverts successivement d"une couche (4) d"une bande resistant a la chaleur de meme longueur, d"une couche thermoplastique (5a) de meme longueur, d"une couche en forme de maille (6) d"une longueur l1, d"une couche thermoplastique (5b) d"une longueur l2 et d"une couche (7) d"une bande resistant a la chaleur d"une longueur l3. Ensuite, le cable est place dans un moule (8) d"une longueur l4. Avant de la chauffer, le diametre D de la gaine (2) de la section reparee est egal a 1,15-1,2 fois le diametre d de ses sections non endommagees 2b et 2c, les longueurs susmentionnees verifiant la formule suivante: l3>l4>l1>l2>l0. Le moule (8) dont le diametre interieur est egal a 0,85-0,9 D est comprime pendant le ramollissement du materiau thermoplastique (5) jusqu"a ce que le diametre de la gaine (2) de la section reparee soit egale a d puis il est refroidi. Apres durcissement de la gaine (2), la couche (7) de la bande resistant a la chaleur est extraite. Le procede peut etre utilise partout ou il est necessaire d"effectuer une reparation rapide d"un cable, y compris pour les cas de risques d"explosions.
