(EN)A non-invasive continuous blood pressure meter that reproduces the arterial blood pressure waveform, comprising an inflatable flexible finger cuff (2) which incorporates an infrared transmitter (3) and receiver (5), and electronic circuitry (20) connected to the transmitter and receiver and controlling a dynamic compressor (18). The dynamic compressor (18) comprises a bellows (10) which is compressed by a linear motor (8), electrically activated by the electronics (20). The bellows (10) is connected to the inflatable cuff (2) by a flexible tube (14), to which is also attached an electronic pressure transducer (15), in such a way that the hollow spaces of the bellows (10), tubing (14), electronic pressure transducer (15), and cuff (2), form one complete closed air-filled space. When the inflatable cuff (2) is wound around the finger (1) and the electronics (20) are properly adjusted, the signal from the electronic pressure transducer (15) will very nearly correspond to instantaneous arterial blood pressure.
(FR)Un dispositif de mesure, en continu, sans penetration de la pression sanguine reproduit la forme d"onde de la pression du sang arteriel, et comprend une manchette flexible gonflable pour doigts (2) qui comporte un emetteur et un recepteur a infrarouge, un circuit electronique (20) connecte a l"emetteur et au recepteur et commandant un compresseur dynamique (18). Le compresseur dynamique (18) comprend un soufflet (10) qui est comprime par un moteur lineaire (8), active electriquement par le circuit electronique (20). Le soufflet (10) est connecte a la manchette gonflable (2) par un tube flexible (14) auquel est attache un transducteur de pression electronique (15) de telle maniere que les espaces creux des soufflets (10), du tube (14), du transducteur de pression electronique (15), et de la manche (2), forment un espace rempli d"air completement ferme. Lorsque la manchette gonflable (2) est ajustee autour du doigt (1) et que les circuits electroniques (20) sont correctement regles, le signal provenant du transducteur de pression electronique (15) correspond de tres pres a la valeur de la pression arterielle.
