(EN)Method for detecting and measuring alpha-emitting substances, such as radon and/or daughter products of radon, by registering nuclear tracks on a detector. By conducting away during measuring any electrostatic field which may have built up on the detector, there is eliminated the risk of erroneous information being obtained with respect to the dosage of radiation received. A device in the form of a dosimeter for carrying out the detecting and measuring method is also provided in accordance with the invention. Arranged on or in the immediate vicinity of the registering surface (1) of the detector is an electrically conductive material (2) which at least partially covers the registering surface. In a preferred embodiment, the dosimeter may include at least one absorber (4) arranged between the registering surface and the electrically conductive material. The electrically conductive layer suitably has a constant potential and may be connected to the ground or to a source of electric voltage.
(FR)Procede de detection et de mesure de substances d"emission alpha, telles que le radon et/ou des produits de la famille du radon, en enregistrant des pistes nucleaires sur un detecteur. En eloignant pendant la mesure tout champ electrostatique qui a pu se former sur le detecteur, on elimine le risque d"informations fausses obtenues concernant le dosage des radiations recues. Selon l"invention, un dispositif de dosage permet la mise en oeuvre du procede de detection et de mesure. Place sur ou au voisinage immediat de la surface d"enregistrement (1) du detecteur, un materiau electriquement conducteur (2) recouvre au moins partiellement la surface d"enregistrement. Dans un mode preferentiel de realisation, le dispositif de dosage peut comprendre au moins un absorbeur (4) dispose entre la surface d"enregistrement et le materiau electriquement conducteur. La couche electriquement conductrice possede un potentiel constant et peut etre connectee a la terre ou a une source de tension electrique.
